The Quality Control Lab of the institute is acclaimed as the most advanced laboratory amongst the various units operating in FCI. It is equipped with some of the highly sophisticated modern instruments like Ferinograph, Amylograph, IR-Protein Analyzer, Falling number apparatus, Alveograph etc. These equipments are used for the high precision analysis of foodgrains required for the purpose of training, testing and research. Sh.T.K. Majumdar AGM(QC) associate members of Institute of Chemicals(India)well trained and experienced in PFA and in FCI in Physical and Chemical analysis of Food Grains. His contibution to chemical analysis has been accredited at international level,BIS and Indian Grain Storage & research Institute G.O.I. he has rendered 35 year of service so far. |
